Shipping policy
At Q.ik, we ship folding electric bikes and carbon folding electric bikes from our European operations with protective packaging and carrier services suitable for high-value e-bikes containing lithium-ion batteries.
This Shipping Policy applies to orders shipped to Spain, supported European countries, the United States, and Canada. If your country or region is not available at checkout, please contact us before placing an order.
1. Order Processing And Dispatch Time
In-stock folding e-bikes and carbon folding e-bikes are normally prepared for dispatch within 2 to 5 business days after payment confirmation.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day. Processing may take longer for pre-orders, address or payment verification, lithium battery carrier approval, remote delivery addresses, weather disruption, customs delays, strikes, or carrier capacity issues.
If a product is not immediately available, we will contact you with an estimated dispatch date.
2. Delivery Methods
Because folding e-bikes are large, high-value products that include lithium-ion batteries, we use carrier services appropriate for the destination and product type.
- Small accessories may ship by parcel courier.
- Spain and Europe e-bike orders may ship by road freight or courier freight.
- United States and Canada e-bike orders may ship by international freight, courier, or approved carrier services.
For e-bike deliveries, the carrier may require a valid phone number, complete street address, signature on delivery, and delivery appointment or contact before final delivery.
We do not recommend shipping e-bikes to PO boxes, parcel lockers, hotels, temporary addresses, or pickup points unless the carrier confirms that the shipment can be accepted safely.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times begin after the order has been dispatched, not from the time the order is placed.

These estimates are not guaranteed. Customs clearance, lithium battery transport rules, carrier capacity, remote delivery areas, or local import procedures may extend delivery times.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on destination country or region, product type, order weight and dimensions, freight requirements for e-bikes, lithium battery handling, and any promotional shipping offer active at the time of purchase.
Unless a product page or checkout clearly states that shipping is included, shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout before payment.
If shipping is not available for your address at checkout, please contact us before placing an order. We may be able to provide a manual quote.
5. VAT, Taxes, Duties, And Customs
Spain
For customers in Spain, VAT is normally included or calculated according to Spanish tax rules and the checkout settings active at the time of purchase.
European Union
For customers in European Union countries supported by our store, VAT may be included in the product price or calculated at checkout depending on your location, customer type, and Shopify Markets tax settings.
If you are buying as a business customer and require a VAT invoice, please contact us before placing your order or immediately after checkout.
United States And Canada
For customers in the United States and Canada, European VAT does not normally apply. Local taxes, import charges, customs fees, brokerage fees, or government charges may apply depending on destination and checkout configuration.
If taxes are collected at checkout, they will be shown before payment. If taxes or import charges are not collected at checkout, they may be payable directly to the carrier, customs broker, or local authority before or at delivery.
Unless checkout clearly states that duties and taxes are prepaid, the customer is responsible for import charges required by customs, the carrier, or local authorities. We cannot control customs decisions, customs delays, inspection times, import duty classification, or carrier brokerage fees.
6. Lithium Battery Transport Notice
Q.ik folding e-bikes and carbon folding e-bikes may include lithium-ion batteries. Lithium batteries are regulated for transport and must be packed, labelled, and shipped according to applicable carrier and dangerous goods rules.
- Some destinations may require a specific carrier service.
- Some remote areas may not be eligible for battery shipments.
- Shipping times may be longer than standard parcel shipments.
- Standalone replacement batteries may have additional restrictions.
- Damaged, swollen, leaking, modified, or unsafe batteries cannot be shipped.
If your order includes a lithium-ion battery, we will use packaging and shipping methods appropriate for the product and destination.
7. Delivery Inspection
Please inspect the package at delivery. If the carton is visibly damaged, take photos before opening the package, ask the carrier to record the visible damage if possible, keep all packaging materials, and contact us as soon as possible at info@qikbike.com.
If the product itself is damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos or videos so we can review the case and assist with the next steps.
8. Failed Delivery, Wrong Address, And Refused Shipments
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If a shipment is delayed, returned, or lost because of an incorrect address, missing phone number, failed delivery appointment, refusal to accept delivery, or non-payment of import charges, additional shipping, return, storage, customs, or re-delivery costs may apply.
9. Return Shipping
Return shipping rules depend on the reason for the return. If you return a product because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong item, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
Do not ship an e-bike or battery back to us without written return instructions. Returns involving lithium-ion batteries must follow carrier and dangerous goods transport rules.
If the product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. If the issue is confirmed, we will provide instructions for repair, replacement, refund, or return shipping according to the case and applicable consumer laws.
